What are you strapping this to? A trailer, jack, bike lift?
I think there are some tie down instructions in the owners manual, but below is how I strap it to the trailer.
Ideally there would be two front wheel chocks but most likely not.
Pull the trike all the way forward and strap around the front wheels then to the trailer posts. Or strap the suspension to the trailer bed if there are hooks installed.
Double strap the rear wheel at an angle to the rear corners.
I based this procedure a landscape trailer. Say a 6’ by 10’.
This information might vary depending On trailer design.
Finally make sure the parking brake is set.
If it is on a jack/lift, lay a thick towel or moving blanket over the seat and strap to the lift/jack.
Be careful not to tighten too much to cause damage. Just enough to hold the trike steady.
When I have my Spyder on the lift, I strap it to the lift and also put two straps from the handlebars to the garage rafters. Again not too tight. Just enough for the added stability.
Here is an ideal strap location for the front wheels if you have these type of straps. If not loop around the front part of the wheel. Wrap some old towels around the wheels under the straps to prevent rim damage.
