it's under the seat at the rear and there are a few panels that have to come off under there

 

Do I need to remove the left side panels to include the luggage cover?

 

I think you just need to remove the seat, then there are a couple of small panels underneath it where the battery is located

 

Left side; toward the rear of the seat...
remove it if you can't get to that rear torx up on the top...
That one panel, and I believe the left passenger grabrail are removed... That's it!

 

It cannot be done per the manual. BRP says to take it back to the dealer. What you need to do is remove everything on the left side until you get the side panel off. Ridiculous.

 

Patience... you CAN get to it!
There's a panel that sort of sits underneath the left passenger grabrail... that's the one that you need to pull!

 

Per the manual, that was the plan. Chances are you will break something if you try to get it out. Even BRP says you cannot do it.

 

The force is not strong within this one...
