OK, I was putting a new roof on my shop because of an addition I'm doing. So I'm thinking, hmm, Y not do something different? So I printed out this off the SpyderRyder site and marked it off to see if it would fit:



Yep, the scale is ten feet wide by six feet high. To make it fit my roof, I made mine 15 feet wide by nine feet high.

Here it is roughed out:

It's Done

OK, It's done!

I made a few changes in the layout to simulate the "curve" on the outer bottoms of upper legs of the "Y". I was limited as to what I could do because of the 4" offset required to properly install the shingles, but I'm still happy with the result. Who says roofing is boring:
