Wiring issue on my 2021 Spyder RT factory hitch harness ? Turn signals reversed?

I just installed the factory trailer hitch and harness appropriate for my 2021 Spyder Sea To Sky. I am hooking it up to my RT622 trailer that has the 4 pin square connector - so is a direct plug in from harness square 4 pin pigtail to RT622 square 4 pin hitch plug. Pain in the butt to remove the whole back panel to access the wiring harness and mount the control module etc.... Before putting the rea panel with taillights back on the bike - I just attached their taillight plugs to the harness connectors to confirm lights working fine. Turned key and trailer lights went on fine - step on brake and trailer brake lights activate fine. Hit the left turn signal and the right signal activates on the trailer - and right turn activate left on trailer ? What is up with that ????? Are the wires swapped in error in the either trailer side plug or the harness side plug? Appears the wires coming into and out of the module are correct color codes for left and right turn (left yellow/right green). Anybody had this issue? On a separate note - I looked up the hitch I bought on June 10th 2021 on the BRP accessories page - holy cow it went from to $568 to $765.00 ! I am wondering if was on sale last June or if price really went up that much. ArmRests went from $360 to $500 ! Ouch.....

They have to be swapped somewhere.
Do you have a wiring diagram of the trailer side ?
I assume that the square connectors have a "key" for proper alignment ?
Was the input connector for the module already on the bike......or did you install that too ??
The transposition could be all the way back there.
Yes the plug is keyed so no way to hook up wrong. I bought BRP harness for that year RT and installed correctly - there is a spot there labeled and made to mount the module (with provided bolts) so no way to install incorrectly. You can't run the harness connections to opposite side - they wont reach - plus I think if you did do that the bike rear turn signals would be crossed and the trailer would signal would then be lit on correct side(?). I pulled back carpeting in trailer and pulled the fasteners for the corner plastic trim covering the wire loom. Wiring is right there easy to grab before it splits at junction - so I will simply cut it open and cut the two yellow/green wires and cross them over and solder them together - and cover with shrink wrap insulation. Seems easiest solution. Looking around in there seems I need a new gasket set for rear as well. Trailer sat for quite some time I think in storage.
Yes, I would think that switching the wires in the trailer would be the best option.

BUT I personally would not be satisfied with that "fix".
It would be really nice if you could find another owner with a working setup so you could plug your trailer into his bike and vice-versa to get a better idea of what exactly is wrong.

If the CANBUS controls the lights, the whole thing becomes more complicated.
I have a 21 Sea to Sky and just installed the hitch as well. I bought the Freedom trailer and the wires on that were reversed as well. I think its a BRP issue. I just switched the wires on the plug on the trailer and done.

Well that's curious - leads me to think problem may be in the module and not the trailer. Modules are new of course and same part # - and what are chances both trailers were routed the wrong way 10 + years apart - and two totally different models of trailers 622&Freedom. In any event I stripped the wires and crossed them and soldered/taped/wrapped - and voila it works fine now. Small hassle in the end.

Yep. Not a big deal just pain that it has to be done.
Same here. Just opened the back of the trailer and swapped the connectors on the lights.

Exactly what I did - soldered them and problem solved. (y)
