The windshields supplied by BRP are terrible. The biggest one directs the air into your face and the head buffeting at speed distorts your vision and is noisy as hell. I went and ordered the 20" adjustable screen from Madstad Engineering and it works great.

I use the BRP Blue Ridge windshield and a full face Arai helmet. No real diffeculties. Its not my old RT but no problem with buffeting or vision.The windshields supplied by BRP are terrible. I looked at both the Madstad and F4 windshields and both look terrible on the bike, like poorly executed afterthoughts. The f4 came close but they took the easy route and botched the brackets, just drilling the bike and screwing crude brackets on.
I still hope BRP or one of the aftermarket will produce a shield slightly larger than the blue ridge that still looks like it belongs on the bike. Until then, I'll keep what I have. Have gotten used to it.
F4 Customs does not drill the motorcycle and we have sold a lot of the windshield for the
F3 and the people that have purchased them really like them. The wind protection is great and the material we make them out of is very highly scratch resistant.

Yes BRP windshield are so poorly designed. Wish I could get a madstad for the 2014 RT. The way the RT is designed it has so much space under the windshield, can't see any after market windshield working unless the mounting system is changed.The windshields supplied by BRP are terrible. I have the F4 screen with vent for my F3 Ltd, with the winglets. Im 6-2 and its good having bought the tallest available.
Still waiting out for some info on the trunk guides I sent a week ago.
