Well I am 5'8" 200 lbs and 60 years old. I just rode 1101 miles to death Valley and back ( over 3 days). I feel fine and the machine worked great. I actually got it up to 113MPH on the GPS going up hill into a head wind. I thought it was limited to 110 but it was me that gave up before it was ready to quit.

I hear the wait is 6 months. There are always scalpers on e bay if you don't want to wait.

If you crave attention this is the machine. I cannot stop any where without getting into a conversation about it. Lots of thumbs up from pedestrains also. Great fun

I can only speak from my brief rides so far, but I can say comparatively speaking..... it rides wonderfully smooth. I sought out pot-holes during my Detroit ride (not to hard to find:)) hitting them at up to 50 mph with left or right front or just the rear, the Spyder just drove right through and I could not even feel them. Engine vibration was non-existent and exhaust (to) quiet. I cannot imagine a better cruiser. Seating position was fine for me (5'10", 160 lb.). It was much more comfortable than the last Goldwing independent rear suspension trike I had.

I've seen Ebay sales lately very close to MSRP, this one in Cadott WI went for $16,000, starting bid was $15,800: Link to Cadott Spyder Sale

It seems that supply is catching up slightly with demand, "Buy-it Now" prices on Ebay have come down quite a bit, ther is even a neat Lambo Orange one on there right now.... it would go good with my Brazen Orange Viper :)

The dealer I am working with feels that he should get his 6-8 weeks after he places his order... in August. That seems pretty fast to me, but he sells lots of Seas Doos and Can-Am 4-wheelers, and seems to know the ordering system pretty well.

Cadott Sale

I read the listing on this one a little closer, at a $16,000 sale price, it likely was sold for what it cost the person to buy, as it was a private party sale, not a dealer.

This one in Clearwater,FL sold for $16,850. With more potential buyers living a lot closer than the Cadott seller had, he did a little better :)
