From the Q & A posted on tryspyder.com they mentioned an insurance company in the US. Foremost. My agent is checking on and already said it appears cheaper than his original quote

Foremost that BRP was talking about with the same as viperjay $1000 deductable. Is quoting Minnesota owner $485 @ year. May be worth checking out guys.
I use Foremost for my Snowmobile Insurance. They were by far the cheapest I could find. They are actually owned by Farmers Insurance and used as their specialty insurance arm.

I am waiting on CO Brown in town to get back with me on the Foremost quote. He had me with Progressive for around $600 and said Foremost was cheaper and was going to check on it more..... Hopefully Ryan calls soon from Al's. When is yours coming?

You can go online and order from Foremost. I found them doing a web search...Eliminate the middleman.

You buy yours from Ryan?

I am friends with Joe and Greg. I actually bought Al's 2004 MXZ 600 Adreniline SDI...I just love that sled...I consistantly get over 20 mpg riding it.

I am waiting a year until I order one...I am just not a first year buyer of anything.

Did you take your test ride in the city or the country?? Joe led me on the country run and we were flying....Let me just say that it went faster than advertised :)

We had to pull out onto 14 real fast and I dropped the clutch and laid one huge patch of rubber...wasn't really trying either.

Ryan. He just happened to be the one there, first time I met him, back in February. Definitely know Joe, Terry, John, Greg Al and Mom. Have been a customer of Al’s for years. I am not one to buy something first time it comes out either. I really did some soul searching on the Spyder. The motor is well proven, they have Bosch behind the brains, proven, and the company has an outstanding leading edge attitude. The biggest reason, how many times do you get to be one of the first people on the planet with a totally never done before gas powered bullet? Insurance guy is a broker and does all my insurance. He is shooting me the same price as the straight from the company, Thanks though. Progressive actually has recognized the Spyder and it’s safety feature and may actually be better than foremost. Checking on that. I would think more and more companies will be recognizing it as well. The safety record will most likely be very good with all the mid life crisis buyers in their mid to late 40,s.:)
