We're picking up my Spyder in St Pete this month, driving from Austin, TX. My husband loves to work on his bikes (we only have 2 in the garage now...).

When I did a test drive I noticed that Spyder maintenance must require a different tool set. The screws weren't phillips or flat head. What are they? Are they metric?

I want to buy my husband a set of tools for his birthday so he can help me keep my Spyder running perfectly. So what are they and what sizes should I get?

Thanks

tools

hello again
oops i misinformed you with my last message
had the first service done on our spyder yesterday & asked the technician about the tools
the correct name is Torx & they come in different sizes; they should be readily available as some fasteners i've seen on cars use the same tools
hope this helps
ride safe
