THE FIRST CAN-AM™ SPYDER™ ROADSTERS ARE NOW ARRIVING AT AUTHORIZED SPYDER DEALERSHIPS!

The first production of a limited quantity of Spyder roadsters began recently and these first units are now arriving at authorized Spyder dealerships in North America! As the first units are being uncrated, their proud owners are looking forward to the next dimension in open-road riding aboard their Spyder roadsters.

Units from this first production are shipped to authorized Can-Am Spyder dealers according to their allocation. A second and much larger production of Spyder roadsters is scheduled for early 2008.

did it look assembled in crate? how big is the dealer you used..was wondering if large dealers will receive more than 3.. like a LARGE dealer here states he's getting 8 of his allotted 12. not holding my breath

It looked 95% assembled. The dealer got 3 units. His initial allocation was 4.
This dealer is in Ft Myers. The dealer in Jacksonville was suppose to get 9 so we'll see. I think it's only 3-4 per dealer. I'll post if I take delivery today!

Got mine today from Broward Motorsports in Davie, FL. #275 Yellow. I ordered it on Feb 18th. 1st thing I did was tear off that dealer sticker. Great ride home. Taking Interstate I-95 to work tomarrow, should be an interesting experiance. Sure is differnt than riding my Harley Electra Glide.

Watched at my dealer while one of the three Spyders he got was being "programmed". Hooked up to a computer while info was downloaded into the bike. The technician used the phrase "building the bike"

I got my jacket on Saturday and dealer just got their first one in on Friday. They only got the one so I don't know where their demo will come from.

I put my money down 3 weeks before my dealers first demo ride event. Sight unseen, I have no regrets except the wait.

They couldn't really tell me when to expect delivery. A couple of months later they told me I was 10th in line and probably expect delivery until 02/08.

When I picked up my jacket I asked for a delivery update and they told me I was 5th in line and they expected 6 of them to arrive in December. I told them I was that I was told I was 10th in line. They said someone tried to sneak 5 other people ahead of the line from the demo ride and they just recently found out about it. So the mistake has been corrected and everyone will get theirs in proper order.

It would certainly be a nice Christmas surpise!!!
