Rode this Spyder for the summer and we liked it so much that we're signed up for an R/T with bags and trunk, and there's room in the garage for only one roadster...so if you're looking to get in to the Can Am roadster world, here's a way to do it for a third or less the money of a new bike. This one has been well maintained and is cosmetically excellent -- deep down, as you can see from the photos of the chassis and motor under the fiberglass. It has the semi auto, paddle shifter 5-speed, with reverse: manual up shifts and automatic or manual downshifts with automatic clutch, so no clutch lever. Brakes are excellent ABS, linked brakes working off the right footpedal, so the rider has less to worry about than a a motorcyclist. And no need to balance, so it's ideal if you're aging out of your touring bike and feeling that bit wobbly herding around half a ton of Gold Wing or the like. (I know you Ryders know all this, the bike is also listed elsewhere...)
In addition, this bike is up to date service wise. It has a recent oil and filter change and at the start of the season I installed a new air filter, new plugs, new battery, new fuel filter, fuel lines and clamps and new front brake pads. The tires are correct Spyder fitment tires with at least 75% life left. It comes with the OEM tool kit, digital copies of the owners manual and a complete service manual, plus extras including a tall smoked touring windscreen and a set of floorboards that bolt in place of the stock pegs.-
