Hey Spyder fans,
Really need advice. Bought spyder in Florida, imported to Ireland. Steering locked up on my first drive, at 60mph, not fun. BRP has said that the recall computer update has already been done on the bike and I am on my own. No dealer, no help in Ireland. Has anyone fixed this problem and can tell me how much it could cost, worst case. One drive is all I have had after waiting for three months for shipment. Now only able to max 45mph before the situation gets dangerous. Any solutions please.

steering problem

The spyder has a power steering pump (electric) I would have someone check out the pump and see if it is loses pressure at high revs. or if it is loosing voltage at 60 plus mph which would be about 3500-4000 rpm in 5 gear
