Hi My spyder has begun stalling on me while driving. Going straight 35 mph and 45 mph, turning left from a stop and turning right going 10 mph. It shows a vault vss. You can't start it back up unless you turn the key off then start over and then it clears itself. It also started to idle high in first after the last time then it stop after I got the bike home. Has anyone else had this problem or know what it might be? I don't feel safe on it in traffic anymore. It is going back to the dealer for the second time.

Try tightening the connections to the battery under your seat. This worked for me, so far....

I personally have not had one that stalls from a VSS code. there seems to be several bugs in the spyders still that need to corrected. bring it to the dealer and they will connect it to b.u.d.s. and pull the codes.

We have a 2008 spyder SE5, automatic... this is happening to us too.... it has actually gone so far the our's seems to even skip gears while down shifting. Any news on transmission problems or recalls?
