Took me a few tries to get it to work.... It sure took a lot of dedication to register a URL and make a site to plead for help.... It should not be hard to find out were #140 was delivered.

At least it sounds like the individual "MJ" of professional client service Can-Am Canada is helping......

I got the Spyder at North County Cycle Center in San Diego.
What a joke!
Here is the deal...
On my way home, after 11 miles,,, SMOKE billowed from behind the instrument panel and oil covered my " Original Owner" jacket. Very embarrassing every time I had to stop. Smoke and oil everywhere!
The next weekend, I used the vehicle for a promotional vehicle for my business... to create a "buzz". The buzz was the oil leak and smoke screen.

sounds like a misinstalled valve cover gasket - this happens every now and then on the aprilias. the oil is coming from the cover and hits the exhaust pipe, causing the smoke. should be less than an hour to fix.

Have you tried this?

Did the dealer get a demo unit?

Maybe they can let you use it as a "loaner", like a car dealer does when your car is down for warranty repair?

Just thinking out load again.

Finally got my Spyder back!...what a great ride....

Even though I had to take it to the shop with 11 miles and then wait a month before I could ride it... I am glad to have it home.

Glad to here in the end it all worked out....

Even though it took an "extra month", you still have it in your garage (while many are still waiting).
