Spyder flag mount

I recently migrated to my 2013 Spyder rt from a Honda VTX. I did this because I was getting to old to handle 2 wheels. I loved my VTX and now I love my Spyder. One of the mods I did to my VTX was to add Flag Holders for my Navy and US service. I kept the flags and holder and WALA, it fits my Spyder beautifully. HOW large ?
That really is NOT a good idea unless you have a machine shop make you a custom mount.
Anything that you just "bolt on" might bend or break body parts if the flag is too big.

Do you already HAVE a trailer hitch on the Spyder ?
I think 3X5 FEET is way too big for a motorcycle, unless maybe it is used ONLY in a parade where you NEVER go over 10 MPH or so.
