While there is a good reason to worry about any recalls, my experience with BRP has been quite good. I purchased my Spyder from Joe Harrison but only because the dealer in Lytle didn't have a Phantom in stock. Her customer service and willingness to support the Spyder as a rider is unsurpassed and they deserve a good chance at your business.

I'm happy with any company that steps up to the plate to repair problems!

Proud New Owner of a Spyder SE5,

I'm not sure about the Numbers or letters behind the Spyder, but I do know that it is a semi-automatic and I am VERY excited. I bought it at Joe Harrison and they were excellent and amazing!!!!!!:D I was thrilled and so satisfied with the way we were treated:) They will deliver it tomorrow. There is a chance of ice or snow so I'm glad I don't have to ride in the frigid weather. I was pleased that we have been so blessed. Now I can really keep up with my husband on his Harley. Wow, what a turn our lives have made. We are in San Antonio, too, so if there are any rides planned let us know.

I've been on the forum for two or three weeks now.
I bought a 2011 Spyder RT-S SE5 and love it., I've had it for two weeks. I just took it in for the 600 mile check up.
I live in Kerrville and would enjoy riding if any trips get setup.
Please keep me informed.
Thanks

Keep checking

I keep checking this thread also looking for south texas rides. I am in Cibolo, with an 09 RS. I have joined the meet up South Austin Riders Group and they seem to be pretty active on rides and such. Also there is a Holy Rollers Motorcycle Group from Universal City that are doing some rides also. The next one for that group that I am participating in is the Devil's Backbone on 13 Jul. Looked like fun! Robyn
