Do I need a full slide plate Or just the small nose plate or do I even need one
Whatever you use, remember that it will reduce the already little ground clearance these bikes have. I used the pre-load adjustment to raise mine to good effect and quickly got used to the added added front suspension stiffness (which also helped with cornering speeds). Get used to crossing speed bumps, some bridge approace and exits etc at an angle rather than head on is an easy ryding adjustment.

Just after acquiring my new '22 F3, I purchased a full skid plate and sent it back. Despite the dealer's ad, it didn't fit my '22. Ended up having to return it. I was glad that I did a 'dry' fit before drilling holes in my new bike for a bogus skid plate. Not worth the money in my opinion even if it would have fit. By the way, the dealer never changed the ad claiming the plate fit the '22 F3 models.
