I'm slated for a test ride next week and am still unsure. I ride a BMW R1150GS right now and am smitten by this things looks for sure. But at 6'4" and 250 LBS I wonder how well I am going to fit on this machine, leg room etc.

Is ther any lower fot peg, higher seat options ?

I'd appreciate any input as to the pro's and cons of the spyder and any general comments or gripes.

Still on the fence in Ontario......

Big Guys Ride

Hey Dr.,

I am 6'7" and go about 300. Not a fat guy just big. I am more comfortable on the Spyder than I was on my Harley.:D

I went to a demo day trying to kill some time and the only reason I didn't order the bike on the spot was the 8 month wait they promised me. Went back to the dealer a month later and someone bailed on their deposit and the dealer sold it on the spot.

You will likely want to have the suspension adjusted to the stiffest setting based on your size and may want to look for a highway peg set up to move you leg position after a while. All in all I am broken down from abusing my body playing sports and can still ride for 2 hrs plus and be pretty well off.

Thanks for the feedback. How many miles have you got on your spyder, what's the longest ride you've been on (2 hrs?).

Is it like sitting on a snowmobile or Seadoo? Certinaly looks similar.

Thanks for any and all info agian,
