In changing one's oil in the Can-Am Spyder, has anyone heard of using Amsoil 0W-40....?? A Amsoil rep stated it was very popular in owners of ATV's. I thought the Spyder was considered a roadster and not an ATV....

Just stay with the 5w-40 or 10w-40. I would, and have, switch to full synthetic.

The Spyder is a motorcycle/roadster. But you will find the same engine in many of the Can Am offroad vehicles. I agree with Jeff, you can run full synthetic if you want.

I am running Amsoil 10w-40 motorcycle oil. I ran the same for years in GoldWings with no problems. As stated, it is a motorcycle/Roadster, treat it as one.
