I don't have a bike yet, but I will soon...
What does Maryland require for me to ride - motorcycle learner's permit?
Three-wheeler license?
Somehow I have to purchase a Can Am, then get it to where I'm going to take whatever test is required.
Not sure how to work the logistics...

One day I'll be up and riding, and all of this will be a distant memory.
For now, its kind of daunting and challenging

thanks

Hey there, I replied to your other thread but just in case here ya go:

When I bought mine I trailered it home. I have a 12' flatbed trailer.

In MD you need to have either a full class M or take the test on a trike or spyder and get a 3 wheel validation. If you want to go to the MVA and take the street test you will need a learner's first.

Another option, if you're comfortable trying a two wheel is to take an MSF course (motorcycle safety). You do not need a learner's for this and if you pass you get a certificate that you can take to the MVA and get your license without doing anything else. I took the class at the College of Southern Maryland. I know PGCC has one. Maybe HCCC has one too?

Good luck!
