My wife and I are new to the Spyder and have really enjoyed getting out and riding around. I do most maintenance on our bikes and was wondering if anybody has found the engine oil filter and transmission oil filter at any of the auto parts stores. I'm able to find my motorcycle filters there but not sure about the ones for the spyder since it's kinda new to the Oklahoma area.

If you live in the Oklahoma city area drop us a line and let's go ride. We're always up for a good ride.

Doug,

Hi, I live in Edmond and was wondering what dealership you purchased your Spyder from? I am looking for the SE5 so I need to find a dealer close to OK that I can go look at it. Do you and your wife both have one or are you riding 2 up? Have you enjoyed it since you've had it and have you had any problems with maintenance on it? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

No kidding, Louis Powersports in Greenville. 3 weeks ago I was in Greenville, TX for the 2010 Texas State IDPA Championship (competitive pistol shooting) and stopped in there to show my wife the Spyder. That is where she got the bug for one. I ended up being the one walking out with a bike. I bought a brand new 09 Kawasaki Concours 14 ABS. That is too funny.

...Prettier than a smiling piglet here! The Missus is keeping me too busy for any serious ryding right now... but the RT is still more fun than I should be legally allowed to have!

I just bought an RTS SE5 orbital blue down at Louis PowerSports in Greenville Texas. Duval Power Equipment in Shawnee had an RTS that you can test ride. I have about 180 miles on mine now. I live in south OKC.
I live in Southeast Oklahoma near Beavers Bend State Park. I've been talking to and will be going to Louisville Texas Friday to check out a new RT-S or Limited. I just need to test ride one to decide if a Can AM Spyder and I are made for each other. I'm just not crazy about the dealer being so far away.

There is an RT Limited in the area but I don't know who it belong to yet.

UPDATE 10/25/12: I may be riding a new Bronze colored Limited home by Saturday.
