New to Can-Am Seeking Advice.

Hi All,

My name is James and I have been a motorcycle guy off and on for most of my life. Unfortunately back at the end of 2019 I had a Windowmaker (LAD) heart attack with some loss of function and strength/energy levels that made it hard for me to ride a 2 wheeler safely. I recently sold my last motorcycle a 2014 Honda CTX 1300 Deluxe that I really loved and enjoyed riding. I had never thought of a three wheeler until recently when I started wanting to ride again.

I looked at converted Honda Goldwing with a trike kit but they are very expensive and not in my budget. Then I started looking in to a Can-Am and have been dong some research to see just what would work for me. I went and looked at a few at a local used dealer and that helped me even more. I went to go look at a 2014 Spyder St Limited SE5 that looked good and had low miles, it was being sold just as we arrived so we just looked at a few others that had. I found the dealership to be quite rude.

I found what I think is just want I want but would like some advice. I found a 2019 Can-Am Spyder F3 Limited with very low miles. First off, opinions on that year and model? Next what would be a fair price to pay. Miles are under 4K, and it is in very good condition. Looks almost new, no upgrades that I know of.

I appreciate any advice anyone may be able to provide.

I will be back with updates.

Thank you,
James

So......for future posts, please PLEASE format your text into paragraph or sentence breaks.
Something like post #13 above.

Without that, one big BLOB of text is hard to read on a screen.

Thanks in advance.
At least he used punctuation. 😁
BTW. Those lids. Mine was wobbly after a Wing lid.
The blokes at F4 make some stick on guides that make the lid closing much better.
I just got my stick on guides to align my rear lid from F4, but there are no instructions or even a picture of them installed. Can someone please send instructions or at least a picture so I know how these are installed.

Thanks,
James
Ha snap!. I got no instructions as well. I have looked every where for where they fit but found nothing.

I have e-mailed F4 and asked the question. Waiting out now.

Cornering is something else.

I have just finished a 3 day ride that was all corners.
I will post some photos later today hopefully.

I find pushing the bar with the outside hand and down on the leg and allowing my body to lean just a little inside the corner works for me. Sort of Yin - Yan I guess.

I dont mind admitting it took me ages to get comfortable with that.

Sometimes if you put some spaces in the posts its makes it easier to read. ;)

Do you have a website for F4 trunk guides?

Christopher
Sure..... I can post a link for ya.

Its F4Customs

They also do screens, winglets, and some other stuff for Spyders

Thanks for the link

If you get some and manage to fit them im all ears?

So far I have not had a reply from F4.

Anybody else got the info on fitting those trunk alignment blocks?
F4 sent me a video but its over 18 MB. I captured a couple screen shots to show where they mount. Sorry that's the best I can do until I install mine and take a few better pics. They mount on the outer way area (one only for each arm) and the wedge shape helps align the lid.

Ahhh ok. I hadn't thought of there, but now I see it that makes perfect sense.

Cheers James. Awesome. (y)
