New Owner - Chicago Area

Welcome to the forums, sorry I didn't see your post earlier. Where near Chicago do you live? I'm up north in Rockton, IL but am planning on a ride that may interest you later this spring.

I also have an '09 Red GS I bought this time last year. I put on 5000 happy miles so far.

If ypur looking for a great Spyder rally end of April PM me for details. There are others from Chicago going that you may be able to ride with and your husband is welcome on his two wheels!

Jeff, I know someone in Chicago that might be interested in trying out a Spyder, or going to a nearby rally. Is the rally you speak of going to be in Chicago?

The rally is at a dealer in Cuba, MO, currently we have over 260 signed up. There are dealers around Chicago they can go for a test ride.

I see your from Round Rock, I help train the wastewater operators at the Rockdale plant down the road from you a few years back. Drove through Round Rock a few times.

Cuba sounds like fun, although too far for me to ride.
Do you recommend a certain dealer? They live on the South side, Burr Ridge. I think you are up North.
Oh yes, Rockdale, used to travel up US 79 through there on a regular basis.
