Initial problem from new! finally tracked to cross threaded AND hairline fracture at location of oil pressure switch; cured THAT problem with a heli-coil transplant. Still! continued to leak:mad: but with the persistent help of a good mechanic finally tracked it coming from behind:confused: the water pump cover/seal but even more bewildering yet from the actual screw holes that hold the seal in place:eek: Has anyone else experienced this or tell me why engine oil should be leaking from these holes:confused: Stoney1

if your spyder is an RT, that is a known issue that just was released from can am in a service bulletin. the fix is to pull out the bolt, clean it and the hole off and put some sealant on the threads. the cause is too porous of a material.
