For the rear rack I took a piece of aluminum 14 X 12 inches and took off the back cover above the taillight, laid it on top and made a pattern. Then I cut out the center so that it would fit right above the top of back cover. Drilled holes, to bolt the rack to the cover. Notched out where the screws hold the cover on, then took a 1/2 inch solid aluminum rod and wrapped it around to make a rail and welded two posts on the back and drilled and tapped them so they could be attached to the rack with screws. Then sent it out and had it chromed. Standard flagpoles fit perfectly. Hope this gives you the information you wanted.
