The first upgrade that I did on my 19rtl. Easy to install Magic Mirrors and well worth it.
Me too, from Lamonster Garage. Be careful when you pull them apart. I got a good blood blister on my finger when they snapped back together. Worth the trouble. The mirrors come off and go back on effortlessly.
I Guys !!
Mirrors magnetize its the best !!!

Yes, they work well!
But a word of caution….. install a tether using braided wire. They do have a tendency to come off if you accidentally hit a pothole. It can rip out your wires as you watch your mirror explode as it bounces down the highway.

Thanks Big Drag for suggesting this modification. The more information the forum has, the better decisions can be made by the members.
Big Drag, from which supplier did you get your magnets? Lamonster, Slingmods, or somewhere else?
Lamonster. Have always gotten great service from them.
Me too. Now you got me worried about my Lamonster magnets. Have your mirrors dislodged when you hit a bump or a pothole? Have you heard of others who have lost their mirrors? With three wheels and the number of potholes and bumps in Illinois, I hit a few every time I ride to work.

Mine stopped falling off after attaching duct tape strips on the underside out of sight. I also stopped expecting the manufacturer to provide a proper, engineerd modification.
But the Lamonster Magic Mirror magnets are not made for the F3 LTD, Razzle. Lamonster makes a Mirror Lock, which is more of a mechanical device. Did you try them? Tony
Yes tonypil, they are installed. We have cornered the market on potholes in black bitumen under the shadows of trees here in Oz. We are probaby looking good for winning the size prize too. Neither of my mirrors have come loose, let alone fallen of since attaching the strip of tape beneath each. I toyed with the idea of bolting them in place too. A set of mirror magnets sits quietly on a garage shelf waiting a decision to give away or throw away. They cost too much to throw away just yet, lol. Seriously, I also find it rather sad that the manufacturer of these clever bikes has failed to provide a fix over the years.
That's really great that you were able to come up with a fix. The next time you take the mirrors off, could you take a photo to show people with the mirror locks where you put your duct tape?
A good fix deserves good publicity.
I'm still interested in any reports of RT mirrors falling off with the magnetic mounts. Tony
