I just bought a Spyder too! 06/26/2008

Located in U.K. - drove 300 mile round trip to test ride a Spyder & bought a Premium Edition yellow & black SM5 off their showroom floor. Should take delivery next week. Great fun to ride, even better seeing cars slowing down on the other side of the road with one guy taking a picture as he drove past!

Interested to know if anyone here has bought a Corbin seat to replace the standard fit?

Thanks Brett, I am in fact getting mine delivered this Friday, July 4.

I was wondering if the Xenon light conversion is worthwhile for night riding? I did get a message back from Corbin re: the replacement seats and they do look very good but they haven't a date for delivery yet.

Plus!! As I am located in the U.K. I wondered if there are any other riders in the south? around the London/Surrey area? Let me know if you are! Direct email: [email protected]

I think we are pretty thin on the ground at the moment. Which is kind of cool anyway.

Just wish it was Friday......:D

I put a deposit on a red SM5 the last week in July. Is supposed to be here the second week of September. If it gets here in time I will take it to Panama City for the Thunder Beach Fall rally, wasn't planning on riding anyway. Will tow my toy hauler, with the Spyder and my Boss Hoss trike inside. If the Spyder doesn't get here in time I will take my Rune.

Now I have 3 bikes, the Spyder will make 4, I put about 20,000 miles a year on them. I also have 2 trucks, I put a total of about 8 - 10,000 miles a year on them. My HD Chevy gets most of them. and 90% of them is pulling my 30ft Toy Hauler or my 16 ft enclosed trailer. I pretty much ride all year. Here in the Atlanta area they are always days to ride even during the winter. Especially with heated gear.
