I'm looking for recommendations for a portable jump start to stow on the spyder
Anyone have success with 1) finding one that is easily storable, 2) is reliable and easy to use on the Spyder RT.
I have the Sea to Sky
Thanks in advance.

ANY that are advertised for use on a CAR should work fine on a Spyder or any other motorcycle.
I personally carry a "motorcycle size" set of jumper cables.
I don't have to worry about keeping them charged. ;)

Hey there Easy Rider...like you, have carried the Motorcycle size set of jumper cables for years now, and they've come in very handy in group rides.
I'm anticipating riding as a Lone Wolf, and seeking a lightweight reliable jump start for those more remote locations, should the need arise.

Keeping a fresh battery in the machine should help a lot. :)

Visit an auto parts store to see what they have and the price.
Then do some shopping online: Amazon, WalMart, etc.
I probably would just get whatever one that WalMart has.

Note that those things are meant ONLY to supplement a weak battery.
They might NOT be effective for a completely failed battery or other major electrical problem

I have one that stores on bike and put adapter so I can carry in car too.

I use a Nekteck. Stores in saddlebag

Yes, I have nice Tanga jumpstart , its small compact design, lithium battery, shows power reading and easy to hook up cables all in a nice little carry case. Got it online special for under $50. Seen similar ones in Costco and Sams Club for about $49-74. I carry it easily in rear compartment.
