Hi, just got my 2016 Spyder f3 limited a few days ago..love my Spyder!!
It didn't come with any manuals n I've downloaded 1. I've YT n Google to no avail. I'm try'n to connect my phone to hear my music on spotify. I've plugged into the auxiliary cable, USB in trunk n a Bluetooth device. NOTHING works. Only the radio comes thru speakers.
What am I doing wrong??

You need to switch the "radio" to use what ever input that you have connected.
That should be on a menu for the radio controls somewhere.

For some reason it's not letting me disable the radio.

You do not "disable" the radio.
You access a settings screen ON the radio and select a different input.

OR.....maybe you don't have an OEM radio.
OR.....maybe that model wasn't equipped for external inputs.
Sounds like you need to see a dealer and ask them.

What is it with all of the "n" s in your posts ??
I recently sold my 2016 F3L and was able to stream anything from my phone. My Bluetooth transmitter was in the glove box connected to the USB port and headphone jack. (I think).
You need a Bluetooth receiver plugged into the Aux port then switch the music to Aux instead of radio. Pair the phone to the receiver. LaMonsterGarage has a BT receiver.
I think the order you do things is important. If I remember, the manual hints at that. Anyway, I gave up and just paired my iPhone to my helmet audio by Bluetooth. The Can Am audio has a mind of its own and doesn't seem to want to share its oddities of operation with me. I never use it, or the idiotic navigation system. I'd rather they just implemented iPhone/Android integration and not been bothered with their apps or even the speakers. Who wants to share their music choices with the world anyway. They could have simplified the whole thing and knocked 2 grand off the price.

I ride a '21 RTL: I use a Zumo GPS: I have an Samsung 22 android phone:
I use a Cardo Pack Talk Slim Bluetooth headset:
I pair the headset to the Spyder:
Zumo is paired to the Spyder:
The phone is paired to the Zumo:
When I turn on the Spyder the music from the phone comes through the speakers:
I then turn on the headset:
I can switch the music from the phone, playing on the speakers to my headset via the source button on the Spyder, near the edge of the seat.
I will admit it took me a while to figure it out & I don't make any changes...that's how it works for me. i am not using BRP via the USB port in the glove box. I gave up on that system...

With the 2016 you can plug a USB stick directly into the port in the glove box and listen to whatever you like.
You must select USB as the source.

I must try that. My car lets me do it. I guess if I just pair the other channel of my Sena SL2 to the Spyder I'll be good to go. Well that'll keep me busy tomorrow.

I just want a Bluetooth connection from the bike to my helmet to play music from my USB stick. And I want an intercom to my wife's helmet only. She won't want to hear my music.

I also don't really care about integrating my phone as nobody ever calls me anyway. I don't need maps/GPS or anything else. I don't want anything cabled up either.

I have a 2021 RT LTD so we shall see how this goes.

Thanks for the hint. If it wasn't 9 o'clock at night I'd try it now.
