got my spider friday and already broke 1500 miles---what do you have on yours and how long have you had it---wonder how many miles you can rack up before the motor is sluggin it---

I have done 25 000 kilometers (15 534.2798 miles) since april 2009. So think you have a couple of miles until you should worry.

18000 miles purchase Oct 2008 but spend around 4 months in shop for steering, transmission and fire.

My wife just purchased a 2008 from Waukesha WI. with 462 miles on it. It is at the dealership having the oil changed and everything checked out. Then she can begin.

No problems

Turned 10,000 this week. 1 year old 2008. It keeps running better as it breaks in. No oil consumption. Tires are showing very little wear and I ride it like I stole it.
