I bought the 1" riser from BRP and it came with good instructions. The only thing I needed to purchase was a 2 arm gear puller from Sears for 20 bucks. As i did not have a puller yet the buy was a bonus.
The only items removed was one lever and the handle bar covers (both plastic and metal ones).
The swap went easy and took under an hour. The higher bars sure do help the wrists and back!
Street Magic makes risers that only move up the grips, not the entire handle bar. They are machined out of billet. I saw them on a bike over in Hot Springs and they look pretty nice.
for that price it should include the console & new grips
Bar risers $14.95
pipe cutter $15.00
4 chrome caps $10.00
a drill and 3/8 drill bit ( free just borrow someones)
6 pack of sam Adams $7.95
couple of hours labor..Free
