hi,

I went for a demo ride yesterday on a RT and found there was a lot of heat coming from the engine. I wondered if because we never really got moving during the ride, that I noticed the heat more. Have you guys found that the heat from the engine is a problem? i.e. uncomfortable

thanks

As rickeggett said, there are some mods that help with the heat. It does get better when you are moving 45MPH+, but the right side is pretty hot. On a hot day the heat is worse. My wife has complained about a hot right foot when riding on the back, probably from exhaust heat.

I usually ride with ankle high boots and denim jeans. That is usually enough to keep the heat problem at bay.
