I'm new to the forum. I really enjoy my 2021 RT Ltd. I have both Rever and Genius maps, and really not happy with either one. Has anyone had better luck with any other BRP compatible GPS app?

Hi , welcome to the Spyder forum. Most Spyder ryders with the 18 and newer dash do not like the BRP apps for GPS. Most buy a Garmin GPS and mount it on the handlebars.
Check out Lamonster Garage they will have everything you need.
Sorry I can’t answer any questions about the BRP apps because I have a 17 RTL with the analog dash and my Garmin 590LM GPS came with the Spyder that year.

I use Waze on my Iphone and it works very well. I use a data blocker on the cable to the Spyder so that the BRP system does not interfere with what is on my phone screen, but keeps my phone charged. I installed a nice metal phone holder in the center of the handlebars.

Hi Vito,
I never heard of a "data blocker" on a cable, but will look into it - thank you. When you use Waze on your phone this way, you can see the map on your phone screen and not on the dashboard (the purpose and point you were making), but what about the sound - Are you able to get the audio turn directions to come through the Spyder speakers with a Bluetooth connection?
