I preordered my Spyder RT in Orbital Blue on 1-20-2010 and I'm excited. I had a head on collision Jan. 5, 2007 on my Kawasaki Voyger and severely injured my left foot and ankle and was told by my Orthopedic doctor that if I was going to continue to ride it would have to be on three wheels. I have never liked the way the traditional trikes handled and the Spyder was the answer. My wife and I can now return to what we love, spending our days off, weekends and vacations, riding.

I'm sorry to hear about your past accident. You are truly very lucky to be here after a head on collision!

Having had the unfortunate occurrence of tipping over a GoldWing trike (stupidity on my part..... fortunately only some road rash), I can tell you I agree with you on your "How Standard Trikes handles" statement!

You'll love the RTS, and you'll also become the equivalent of a rock star when you and tour wife drive it around! Bet you can hardly wait!

Waiting for March

I am waiting on pins and needles for mine to come in. They tell me it should be here in March. I have a solid offer on my '09 SM5 but I don't want to let it go till I know when my 2010 model will be in at the dealer.

Congrats on the new bike, I am sorry to hear about the accident. I ride pretty easy and I have not been close to an accident, but I have seen a front end collision, so wow you were pretty lucky considering. If you have any special routes that you would like to share with the motorcycle community please post onto my online map at allstate insurance route or allstate insurance moto. I am an advocate for allstate and thus I using their web sites for this. Thanks
