I got a kick out of the comments regarding the sit down watercraft. "Making them more "democratic" so "almost anybody" could ride them. I worked for Kawasaki and we used to take Jet skis to the local lake on the weekends and let them be used for demo purposes. They were always in demand. We usually took a sutdown and stand up, because they were really 2 different markets. I recall spending at least a half hour trying to get going on a sitdown wioth some drunk girl that wanted a ride...she could not keep her balance and kept falling off. I never fell of, but we'd go about 5 ' and she would be in the water,I'd stop and she would climb on again only to fall off again..easily a 30 minute pain in the a$$. She defined the "almost anybody" as she was on the outside of that.

Tooooo funny. I would not recommend giving her a test ride on a Spyder!

My brother had a stand-up jet ski for a while..... I never did get the hang of it, I'd go left, it would go right..... splat.
