I have a 2008 SE5. I took it in to have the clutch looked at because it was sticking and when the mechanic called me back he said I needed a new motor. It turns out that the clutch came apart and small pieces of it went into the engine causing it to lock up.

Has anyone ever heard of this issue/or had this issue, and is there anything I can do to prevent getting a buying a new motor.
