Just discovered from BRP site that a recall was issued yesterday, July 17 on the digital power steering, a software update no part replacement. Called the local dealer and they don't even know about it. NHSTA says there is danger of more effort to steer that may cause accidents. Be aware. I scheduled mine for the recall repair.

BPR called me today to let me know it was released and told me that all dealer knows about it already and I should take it in for the update, they even told me it should not take more than 20 to 30 min to do the update.

i took it in yesterday after my spyder wanted to change lane for me; it jerked me around, and i had to steer harder to keep it striaght. so be careful out there guys and girls.

took it to the dealer and they seemed pretty clueless about what i told them. however, when i called brp, the rep knew all about those malfunctions and said the re program will fix them all.
