Are you talking about a knob on the handlebar clutch lever? If so, it is to adjust the lever for different length fingers, not to adjust the clutch itself. At least this is the case on some vehicles.

That's the knob. I want the lever closer to the handle bar.

Use the deepest detent on the circuler wheel to adjust the lever closer to the bars.
