Couple of questions. Where is the best place to rest your right foot? Can you rest the front of your foot on the break pedal as long as you don't depress it? It seems a little awkward to find a good place for it.
For a few the footrest/riding position is placement is awkward. If you peek around previous posts, you'll see some have put foot boards on to address the issue.
It is not a good idea to rest your foot on the break, even though it seems you are not pushing on it, you are.... and you'll wear out your brake pads.
Enjoy your new ride..... The weather is PERFECT to go out and have some fun!
I agree. Keep your footsie off the brake pedal till you need it. You are suffering from a little lack of confidence but call it needing more comfort. It probably happened to all of us. Its not a good idea to ride the pedals in a car so don't ride the pedals on the bike.
