So I have been having an on going issue with my 2011 Can Am Spyder. No one in SoCal where i live will work on it because of its age etc. The issue is a running one, the motor sounds like it is missing on cylinder. I was told that I need to start with a new throttle body (might not fix the issue), wiring harness or ecu (i believe is the true issue). I can do the work just need to know if anyone has ever bench tested wiring harness or ecu. any help welcomed

Well so far you have gotten some BAD advice.
There are several things before what you have mentioned.
They are WAY down the list.

The vacuum lines tended to dry out and crack and leak.
Bad gas
Spark plugs.
Fuel injectors (try some Berrymans B12 or Gumout in the gas)
Coils and wires
Fuel pump
Fuel filter
Plugged air filter
Plugged exhaust

"Wiring harness" shouldn't even be mentioned for a problem like this.

Easy Rider I have to check my maintenance records but to my knowledge I have already had all the vacuum lines, spark plugs, Coils and wires, Fuel pump, and Fuel filter have been replaced. I will double check As far as gas i only use 91 Octant at multiply venders as stated in the owners manually.

And what is IN your tank could be contaminated or really old.
Some stations don't sell much "Premium" and what's in their tanks doesn't get refreshed very often.

NOT mentioning what has already been done in your first post just draws out the discussion longer than it needs to be.

I still suggest some good fuel system cleaner in the gas.
Techron or Berrymans B12. NOT SeaFoam.

That sounds great but bike makes it about 10 miles before limp mode.

Easy Rider, what has been your issues with Seafoam ?? Been using it for many years on all vehicles, lawn tractor, snowblower, cars and Spyder etc. Works just fine.

The "issue" is that you have mostly been wasting your money.

If you look up the ingredients on the Materials Safety data sheet, you will see that it is mostly things like mineral spirits or kero and a couple of kinds of alcohol.

It was NOT originally designed to be anything but a marine fuel stabilizer.
Their claims of being good at other things too is just marketing hype.
The 10% ethanol in gas these days is probably about as good a cleaner.

But if it makes you happy, keep on doing what you have been doing.
The outcome likely would have been the same if you had used .......NOTHING.
