Hi all. Greetings. I'm sort of new at this as this is my first post.
We recently bought a 2018 Spyder F3 Limited and plan on keeping it forever so I thought it would be nice to chat with fellow Spyder owners. We love this machine! My wife is planning to get her license this spring and make this her Spyder. Anyway I had a question concerning the Footpads/Floorboards. Has anyone experienced feeling like your heels are a little too high? LOL...I know that sounds a little weird.......let me explain. When setting on the bike in the normal riding position with my feet flat on the pads it feels like my heels should be lower or my toes should be higher. Does anyone know of any way to adjust this? I'm 5'11" and my pads are at Position 3. I've tried moving the pads to Position 2 and I feel just too cramped. Position #3 feels perfect if I could only change the angle just a bit to lower my heels. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't think you can or should try to alter the design of the boards......especially if the eventual "owner" doesn't necessarily share your concern.

I am not familiar with the F3 but altering your seating position or the position of your feet on the boards might help.

Might just be something you have to get used to.

Hopefully someone else with have better advice.

Thank you for your input Easy Rider. Your advice is well taken........I definitely want to stay safe. I may replace my Footpads/Floorboards with Foot Pegs and see how that works out. If anybody has any foot pegs laying around that you would part with just let me know. Thanks in advance
