You'll need a cycle jack, jack stands (for safety) a few wrenches, a filter, a replacement O-ring, and some oil.
Amzoil for cycles works great, Mobil one for cycles is also a good choice. Be sure to use oil rated for cycles with gearboxes, if not, you'll mess up your tranny gears, clutches and synchros. I am thinking idle should be OK as it is electronic, on non efi bikes, idle will go up noticeably because of reduced friction. Really. Last time I did this, I had to back off the idle 300 RPM. You will see increased fuel mileage too.
