I have a 2022 Spyder RT that when applying the brake I have to lift my foot off of the foot pad. Uncomfortable and unsafe. Any way I can move the pad down so I can apply the bake with my heel still in contact with the pad?
Do you have the same problem or is it only my goofy right foot?Welcome to the forum from North Carolina. Glad you decided to join us.
Don’t know of any item that will lower the brake pedal. Only see s spacer that raises the pedal.
Lamonster has a kit that raises the floorboards that makes the brake pedal lower in relation to the boards.

They make 5 rods of different lengths for my bike and I tried all 5 with no luck. You gotta think this is a common problem.Hi. I have an F3S that they sell adjustable and shorter brake rods to lower the pedal. The RT is a different setup and the pedal is not adjustable.
Wow. Looks like what I have been looking for. Thanks sooooo much! SteveWow. Didn’t realize they made them for the RT. But found an adjustable one from SlingMods.

I think it is NOT.They make 5 rods of different lengths for my bike and I tried all 5 with no luck. You gotta think this is a common problem.
I've run into that using the different length rods available. Another problem is the width of the connector ends. I found a perfect length rod but the ends were too narrow so it would'nt fit. I need to get the full dimensions before I buy. Thanks again for your help.I think it is NOT.
Almost never hear about it in any of the forums.
I have no trouble......and am not even away of whether my heel comes up to apply the brake or not.
I think it does not. And I have a small foot.
Note: Be careful when changing the brake pedal travel.
If you put the pedal down too low, you might not be able to apply it fully.
I thought of that and just decided to put up with the problem the way it is. I will probably buy that extension bar from Sling ModsHow about removing your brake rod, cutting a small section out of it, threading the ends, and use a coupling nut with jam nuts to make it adjustable?
I'm with you. Thanks for saying it.Again, not trying to be obstinate, just don't get it.
2021 RT has same issue. Purchased super wide brake pedal pad from Slingmod, way more comfortableI have a 2022 Spyder RT that when applying the brake I have to lift my foot off of the foot pad. Not meaning to demean anybody with this comment but.............
It seems that in this day and age, everybody thinks that people and things should conform to EXACTLY what they want or think they need and they are not willing to compromise or learn to live with it.
Sometimes those people live their whole life being disappointed and bitter.
And then sometimes I read WAY more into a simple question than is really there !!![]()
The position of the brake pedal caused severe leg pain from having to pigeon toe to apply it. Larger pad is way more comfortable because it sticks out further allowing a straight foot to apply. You still have to use it much like a car brake.I have a 2022 Spyder RT that when applying the brake I have to lift my foot off of the foot pad. Uncomfortable and unsafe.
