Hi,
I have two questions:
1. Is anyone aware of a problem with mounting a trailer hitch on a 2022 RT? I understand there is a service bulletin, but my dealer is being a bit evasive on the issue. One source told me that the dealer is to order a new axle and install it free to the owner. Can anyone confirm? Has anyone seen this service bulletin?
2. Can you use a trailer hitch from a 2015-2019 RT on a 2020-2022?

Contact a BRP directly.

If I understand it correctly, the rear axle needs to be HOLLOW to mount the hitch......and the new ones are solid.
So the axle needs to be replaced.

I think the source you mentioned is correct.

This is a known issue. Have your dealer contact BRP. They will provide a rear axle that will work with hitch.
