Bike has 16k miles
2012 can am spyder rs se5 990 rotax
This past week the transmission has been slipping when I tap the electro shift which then the check engine comes on. Sometimes I have to shift twice to get it to shift up. Bike shifts down fine. Just did an oil change . Any ideas ?? Please??

You didn't put "car" oil in it, did you ?
A lot of that has additives in it that tends to make the "wet" clutch in a motorcycle slip.
And that applies whether the shifting is manual or "automatic".

hey , thanks for the reply. No I brought it to a licensed can am dealer for the oil change.Hopefully they know what darn oil to use. Some one told me try shifting at a higher RPM so going to take the spyder back out on Tuesday see if that’s any help.

Well yes, the computer won't allow you to shift at such a low RPM that the engine would "lug".
But that wouldn't cause the symptoms that you are describing.
I think you are going to need a visit back to the shop.
Did you check the oil level ?
Sometimes even experienced shops screw up.
