Name is Ray, live in the hip of New Jersey. Retired and have been riding sport touring bikes between 15-20k miles/yr since 2010 after a 25 year break. I like multi-day/state trips or day trips. The Spider is a big jump but I think some of my karting days' skills will help the learning curve. I'll miss the lean but not the drops!

2020 RT Chalk white

Previous rides: '15 Triumph Trophy, '18 Triumph Tiger 1200, '11 Aprilia Mana 850, '09 Piaggio MP3-500, '82 Virago 850, various dirt bikes.

The Lean

Hi Ray,

For me, when I am approaching a bunch of twisties, I like to plant my feet on the front outboard edge of my floorboards. It gives me the best, balanced brace point to lean into the turn.
