2008 dps

We bought our 2008 Spyder back in 2011. We were unaware the the DPS had been changed out at that time. The bike only had 3600 miles on it. About a month ago, the check DPS message appeared. Called BRP and they said to have it fixed and if it wasn’t anything that we had done, it should be covered by them. Now, having paid $1500 to have it fixed, BRP doesn’t want to stand by their product. The bike now has only 7800 miles on it. Anyone have any ideas on what to do next?

Sorry but I don't follow that.

If you PAID to fix something, it should BE FIXED.

Not surprising that BRP would not "warranty" a machine that old though.

Does anyone know if the DPS unit number 709400964 was or is part of the recalled units?
