New RT Owner

Hi, folks. I've been back into motorcycles since 2011 after almost 50 years away, and after my second rear-ender in two years tore up my right knee, I got my first Spyder about two years ago, a then-new '15 ST-S. Loved it, and deciding I was going to do more long distance riding, I upped in January to a Champagne '18 RT Ltd Dark. What a revelation! This amazing vehicle has now got almost 2,000 miles on it in a little over two months, and I like it more every time I get on it. I added a driver backrest, which made long rides even easier to handle, and just put a sheepskin on the seat for comfort.

We are snowbirds, wintering in Surprise, AZ and summering in the Seattle area, so I'm a year-round fair weather rider. Anyone in the Phoenix or Seattle areas that's looking for a riding partner can send me a message -- I'm retired and ready to ride pretty much any day of the week!
