Thumbs up 2008 Spyder

Good day,

Have had our Spyder for a few weeks now and the wife loves it. The Hindle exhaust is entirely too loud and am looking to find someone who would trade out a quieter one. Other than the noise factor it is a great trike. Have only put a few hundred miles on it but have had no issues whatsoever once i got the tire pressures and spring preloads dialed in. We will probably be looking for people to ride with if we can find other cruiser type people. (Not looking for max speed)

Two easy options for the exhaust to check first:

Start your own thread here, and other Spyder forums, asking if anyone has a set of stock pipes laying around for sale.

Contact the maker of the present muffler/pipes and see if they offer "bolt in" baffles to quiet them down a bit.

Sorry for the slow response. I forget to check this place. send me a PM with state/city you live in so we can figure out if its worth shipping. Gettysburg PA here.

I have a DB Killer wired into the tailpipe at the moment to quiet it down a bit. She screams like a beast but thats not what my wife is looking for.

Have you checked with any Spyder dealers in your area to see if they have any "almost new" stock mufflers laying around ??
