Need advice

New to forums and to can am spyder, rode a 2017 limited at Stugis and really did like the ride. Found a 2016 special edition RS at our local dealership "new" with no miles on the clock, this was the only model with a rebate. Price seemed really good considering the 2017 models setting on the floor. Any big issues with this year model? Coming off of H/D wide glides wanting something More stable and comfortable. Inputs and advice welcomed. Ready to pull the trigger, just not sure about this particular one. Thank you for your time.

I came off Street Glide and bought 2016 RT Limited, love the ride, plenty of power. Lots of mods available. My wife loves the comfort and fees much safer. The 1330 Triple came out in 2014 so for 2016 I would like to think the engineers got any bugs. 3000 miles and zero complaints so far.

One issue I noticed this past week. With the floorboards, I never put my feet down when at a stop. So, I never straighten out my legs and I begin to cramp up. I now stand when at a full stop.

Thumbs up Get It!

After 50 plus years of riding 2 wheelers and one too many broken leg bones, I picked up a "clearance" 2016 RT LTD and haven't looked back. Still getting used to the ride but after today's 250 miles, I'm totally stoked with my decisison! Been very happy

Thanks for the input

Well one more for the road! Went ahead and pulled the trigger on the 2016 spyder, test rode Saturday and brought back the memory of the test ride in stugis last year. Hell of A lot of fun, Looking to pick up later this week with a couple of additions to the spyder. Wanted to say thanks for the advice. From West Texas, stay safe out there.

Good for you. Picked up a 2016 RT from Zia Motorsports in Clovis, NM a few weeks ago. Have about 600 miles on it and enjoying every minute. Took advantage of those rebates on the 2016's. Enjoy your ride.

Lamont sells two versions. One mounts beneath the floorboards and the other mounts on the frame/chassis. I'd fail miserably trying to tell you how they mount and how they differ so I'd suggest you visit lamonstergarage.com and view the videos he has created that describe each version in detail.
