Question 2014 RT Limited & CB

I just bought a pre-owned 2014 Spyder RT Limited (SE6). I'd like to add a CB so I can communicate with my friends on Gold Wings. J&M has a handlebar mounted radio but no mounting bracket that works with the SE. Has anyone found a bracket that will work?

I think that some custom work is needed for a mount.......and it might not end up being out near the end of the bars where it "normally" would.

Integrated factory CB units might still be available. Have you asked a dealer about that ?
Would be slightly more expensive than the J&M but not too much.......and much more convenient.

You might find what you need on lamonstergarage.com.

You might also look into a Midland 75-822 handheld CB with Sena SR10 Bluetooth adapter. It can be mounted to the handlebar with RAM mounts. It's what I use.

Just remember, if common sense is so common, why do few people have it?

That's a nice small CB! You use the Sena SR10 with it? Do you have it hardwired to a power source, or did you install a cigarette lighter somewhere?

What kind of antenna are you using?

When you are on the road, how far is your signal going?

Will I ever run out of questions? (Probably not!)
